Frontier battery

just recently bought a 03 Frontier with the four cylinder,auto,se package,two wheel drive,battery died on me tonite,(we have had a few cold nights)still has a " Nissan" oem battery in it,appears awfully small,trying to find the date of manufacture on it,no luck,do you think this thing could still be running around with the original battery in it? thanks

Definitely. Modern batteries last much longer than in the old days.

Absolutely. In 2007, I replaced the original battery in my

1997 Nissan Pulsar (AKA "Almera" and "Sentra" in different parts of the world).

It still worked. It'd just been cranking slowly on cold mornings for a couple of years.
