location of 'Cabin Micro Air Filter'

on a nissan frontier 2006, is it located behind the glovebox? ie. empty and unscrew the box and replace filter?

is this an OEM part (napa, autozone, etc..) or only available from dealers?

thanks

Not trying to be more anal retentive than usual, but OEM stands for Original Equipment Manufacturer, which usually means dealer. Aftermarket means napa, autozone, etc.

That being said, some of the aftermarket car parts places do carry cabin filters, but when they do, they generally charge as much as the dealer.

thank you for that. Can you assist with the original question on location of the filter?

All the Nissans I have seen have them behind the glove box. If you get the OEM filters from the dealer, they include an instruction sheet on what you have to remove to get to them.
