95 Maxima Turn Signal

The car is a 1995 GLE The Problem.....turn signal So, I'm crusin down the road and turn on my left turn signal and I notice it sounds a little different, well actually a lot different. The indicator light and the clicking sound were about 3 times as fast as usual. I suspected a bulb was at fault. Stopped and checked all four turn indicators and sure enough the left front was out. Simple fix right?...well, apparently not, I changed the bulb no problem...after removing half the dust shields from under the front end. Tried the turn signal again and still not working. I tried two bulbs and the one I replaced was def blown. Anyone have any ideas?

Check the fuse block. The fuse might have went out with the bulb. There is an open circuit somewhere in the bulb circuit.

BTW, the turn signal is EASY to fix (and also get stolen): you simply pop out one of the two halves and then unscrew a bolt on the other. YOu do not need to pull any shields from underneath the car.
