99 max gle abs and tcs slip indication

I have a 99 max that has begun to give abs and traction control (slip ) lights on dash . The first time this happened was during a slow stop during which I felt a rumble in the brake pedal . Turning off the engine removes the indication . A call to the dealer was answered if it stays on bring it in .otherwise its ok , the dealer has done all service on this car.

any ideas or suggestions would be appreciated . the car stops ok , mileage is at 89K

Feeling this in the brake pedal when the ABS is working is normal. Your brakes will still work even if the ABS unit fails you just won't have the ABS.

Check the fluid level in your master brake Unit look for any signs of leakage at the ABS unit. If it need brake fluid get some if you see signs of leakage get it fixed..

If everything is normal as long as it stops and drives without a problem I would not worry about the lights.
