front strut bar, 01 max question

I was looking on ebay for a front strut tower bar (I believe this is it, the "anti roll" bar for teh front) on ebay. I found some as low as 40 bucks... now,are different brands made differently? what should the bar be made out of (aluminum?) here is a link to the bar I'm refering to:
