Hi all, I got wierd problem with heater on my max. It's getting colder here so i started using heater. Blower works fine but it blows cold air or sometime it can get wormer. i noticed that if i accelerate it's getting warmer even hot if i turn it to 90 degrees but never as hot as it used to be... What is it broken there? D
Nearing the minimum line is not bad, and it shouldn't affect heating. It just means you're low and should fill it up. Your thermostat must be the problem, then. Simple replacement you can do yourself.
I should calrify about coolant being low. If the coolant is low but you still see some in the reservoir tank, then it's just low and needs to be topped up.
If, however, there is no coolant in the reservoir AND you open up the radiator and can not see any coolant there, then your coolant is very low, so low that it will affect interior heating and your engine because there not even enough coolant circulating to keep your engine cool.

Thanks for the clarifications. I can see coolant in the tank and it is below min mark. I think i found the problem , looks like the coolant is leaking slowly but obviously. I'm getting tired of nissan already. the car is just 5 years old. :( I'm just curious, are those lexuses worth of the money toyota asks? D
