Need rear

The check engine light just came on my wife's 95 Maxima SE and she took it to the dealer today and they said it was the rear oxygen sensor and would cost upwards of $220 if the dealership replaced it. I need to know where I can buy this part as cheaply as possible and if there are any tips I would need about installing it myself. I am mechanically inclined so hopefully this wouldn't be much of a problem to fix myself. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

I had all 3 replaced for a little less then what you're going to pay for one. Buy the one(s) you need then bring it to a muffler place.

I thought '95s might have 3, but I'm only aware of one in each exhaust manifold. Where is the other one?

I was considering replacing them simply because of the mileage (140k).

Two are in the y-pipe (front and rear bank O2 sensors), and one is right at the end of the cat (or in the b-pipe, 97-99). The rear sensor does nothing performance wise, its there to make sure the cat is doing its job. I also believe that 99 Cali. emission Maxima's have 4 sensors.

If you aren't throwing codes (make sure to actually manually check the light, not just when the check engine light illuminates), then I wouldn't worry. If the car had a previous owner, they might have replaced them etc. They usually go at awkward times, i.e., my mother's Maxima is on the stock sensors with 90k. Mine however is on its 3rd set in 110k...
