The speedo on my 98 S reg 306 XSI has stopped working after a short period where it worked intermittently or measured the speed to be much more than it actually was. The odomoeter still works and clocks up miles. Has anyone else had this problem and do they know if it is a problem with the speedo or the pick up sensor on the gearbox? I believe the car has an electronic unit i.e. no steel cable. Estimated cost of repairs would be useful too. Please email snipped-for-privacy@voiddesigns.com if you have any ideas. Thanks.
