2000 Bonnevile ac problem

The driver's side vents do not blow cold but the passenger's vents blow cold. Just recently started doing this. Will this happen if system needs a recharge? Thanks for any help.

My guess would be no. Cold air is produced under the hood and piped into the cabin via the vents. If any cold air is coming through then the system is doing it's job prior to the venting. Perhaps it could be an electronic temperature setting problem. Try playing with the temps in both zones and with the pass side on and off. Also, turn the AC off and set the temps for both zones at 60 deg. and see if there is still a difference. This latter setting should give you air that is the temperature of the air outside the vehicle down to the 60 deg. setting.
