Can anyone tell me how to bypass the security system on the 93 Bonneville. The sytem prevents the car from starting more often than not. If the weather and car is cool it usually starts otherwise the security light comes on and locks everything up. I tried my other key and it does the same. Thanks, Steve
You could go to stereo shop that installs remote starters and ask them to do bypass for you. Its very easy if you know what your looking for, I think on your car the vats wires(2) are very thin white wires that are in a single orange plastic coating found in ign. harness. Like above post use meter to get value(there's 16 possibilities they use) keep your fingers off the meter probes or your values will be wrong, its a matter of cutting the 2 wires and putting the resistor back in to complete the circuit on the computer side, the 2 wires from ign key side are now duds.
