I have a 97 Pontiac G/Prix GT. Recently, the A/C vents on driver sides (one corner and two middle on the dash) have stopped blowing A/c air, it blows regular air when the A/c is on. The passenger side vents (one middle and one corner) however blow A/c air but not as cold as it was before this problem started (about two weeks now). When the heater is on, all vents work and blow equal amount of heated air. Note: this car does not have a dual zone system.
My mechanic thinks this could involves the A/c system, the vent system or both and some more, and that re-charging the A/c with the gas will not help. He recommends opening the dash and working it through that way.
