'99 Bonneville fuel-related questions

I'm loosing fuel-line pressure when the car sits for a while -- at least, I think that sounds like what's happening.

My '99 Bonneville cranks a lot when cold, but if I put the key in the run position for 2 seconds to build up fuel line pressure it starts almost immediately. Does that mean something in the fuel pump isn't right? Or could it loose pressure elsewhere (I don't detect any fuel leaks)??

Also, after I fill up a tank of gas, my fuel gauge goes crazy -- bounces from FULL back to EMPTY and takes breaks anywhere in between. Usually settles down by the next day and works correctly until the next fill up. Is the gauge sensor in the fuel pump? Think it's something else?

Thanks Dave
