have a 97 grand am, heard in news a recall was ordered, about a month or two ago, nothing mailed to me. how do i get info, tks

Call any GM dealer with your VIN in hand. They will be able to let you know whether there are any uncompleted recalls on your vehicle.

It was a wiring harness that has to be installed, not the starter itself. The wiring harness prevents an over voltage during the starting sequence. It only takes about 30 minutes to install. If I can find the letter that I received, do you have access to a fax? I would be more than glad to send it to you
