1991 Pontiac Bonneville LE ~_~_~262,500 miles_~_~~_Harry, There is a button on the driver info center (DIC) that has a E/M on it for english or metric which will convert everything on inst. panel to metric. But this man states that only his HUD is indicating metric? Am I understanding correctly?

I mentioned pressing the Eng /Met button, what you say is marked E / M, assuming it would also change the readout on the HUD. Perhaps it only contros the dash readout.

1991 Pontiac Bonneville LE ~_~_~262,500 miles_~_~~_This is ONLY for the 2000+ bonny's The 92-99 bonnys dont have an English/Metric switch. If it comes from Canada its km/h... If it comes from the US its mph. Imagine the law suits if the speedometer showed a different speed to the HUD.
I suppose there is probably a jumper somewhere on the computer that will switch it to metric or english.
Yeah, that switch is not present in the 97-99 models.
