The Feb 2005 issue of Excellence responds regarding the potential future price of a Porsche Millennium -- "How a purple 911 with a brown interior, wood trim, chrome wheels and..." will appreciate over time is anybody's guess.
I agree totally, none-the-less I did purchase mine with that in mind and if I'm wrong so be it; it is remains an outstanding auto.
But characterizing the Millennium as "purple" -- HOW?. Yes, Porsche calls the exterior color "Violettchromaflair Metallic" but I've yet to find a single person that would call it "Purple". In fact having taken countless photos not one of them has a hint of purple.

And oh yes, Porsche -- There is no substitute!
