Vehicle Description

Car runs great. The air conditioning has the R134 Conversion and has recently been recharged. R134 Conversion was done by previous owner. New A/C compressor at 191K miles, blower and Fan replaced last summer. New front MacPherson Boge struts, Autocross springs for stiffer front end, and rear Turbo Boge shocks done at 177k miles. New brake rotors all around and new brake pads done at 179K miles. High-flow exhaust including high-flow catalytic converter with resonating dual tip. Vehicle has current emissions tag. 191K miles: new timing/cam belts, new pulleys and gears, new exhaust pipe installed. Runs like a dream and sounds great!!

Interior restoration: Dash mat with "Porsche 924S" embroidered. Black with white interior and Sunroof panel redone in white with custom 924S logo embedded in design. New Blaupunkt San Jose Stereo/CD/MP3 installed with new Infinity Reference speakers all-around. Car has been wired for subwoofer box in rear hatch area. White-faced clock and oil pressure gauges. Will include the rest of the white-faced gauges with the car for new owner to install.

REASON FOR SALE: Want to purchase a newer 944 or Boxster.

Excellence Magazine gave this assessment of the car: "We estimate that the 1987 Porsche 924S to be running from a low of about $3,650 to $4,200 for one in good condition and a high of $5,613 for an excellent example, so it sounds like you made a good buy even with the recent repairs."
