Re: L reg Rover 420
My local garage (independent) charge £25+VAT per hour for labour. The same
again would be reasonable for collecting and transporting. Cable shouldn't
be that expensive, allow £20. If it were me I'd be unhappy if it came to
any more than £70, but it really depends what the garage's rates are. As a
comparison, my nearest Rover dealer charges £55+VAT per hour...
Re: L reg Rover 420
The reason I asked in the first place was because I thought it a
little OTT seems I was wrong .We have dealt with this guy for a few
years now and have bought three Rovers from him in the last three
years and have still got them but I have caught him out on one or two
lies in the past one only last night but I can't prove it. He told me
he would have a L reg Skoda for sale yesterday I rang him at 5.30
asked him if he had it but said you will have to be quick a bloke is
coming for it at 5.50 . I rang him at 6.30 have you still got it yes
he said so I went to have a look and has always this car was what he
said it was 36,000 12 months MOT 310.00 to drive away . In the end I
decided not to bother and get the Skoda that I have through its MOT
only needs a new back box and a bit of welding doing. That one came
from this guy I speak of and only has 46,000 on the clock now one lady
owner from new on a J and at least it hasn't got any electronic this
that and the other like the Rovers have :)))).
