Rover 200 VI

Has any body out there got any info on the settings for the cam shafts on this beast as the cam belt broke and have had to strip the head down but can not find any info. Please can you send any info and/or pics to snipped-for-privacy@ntlworld.com I will be most grateful Yours G Johnson

What info do you need, As far as the camshaft sprocket alignment is concerned the intake cam sprocket should line up next to the exhaust sprocket leaving the timing marks parallel across the engine, they are both marked in and ex so make sure you have the correct markings on each sprocket. (use the ex marking for the exhaust cam and visa versa for the inlet cam. the crankshaft markings are visible once the bottom pulley is removed and it should be aligned at the top where the casing line is located. if this engine is the VVT type then the rear belt should still be intact ?? meaning the 2 camshafts will still be in-line with each other.
