rover 414,Si,central lock fuse problem

I have problem with my rover 414,'93 Si,16v. The car was running fine for few weeks,but I hadn't got a left tail light. I was wondering what could be a problem,bulbs were OK,fuses too,so i removed the dashboard to see if there is any problem there.Then the hell started...Central lock and alarm fuse goes off when I'm trying to replace it.Because of that I'm not able to start the car.I'm wondering if I can disable the alarm and immobiliser.I've heard that there's a hidden switch to do that.It only happened today so I don't have any other opinions yet,so I'll really appreciate if anyone could respond.
