hi i have 1998 9-3 Saab 5-doors (manual) i'm wondering if you guys know any good site to customize saab such as body kits, engine tune-up, etc.

There's lots of information you need to bone up on. You can start at Eric's site. He has an NG900 but the mods are mostly the same for yourcar:

For the engine, you can add a manual boost control or upgrade the ECU. The MBC is cheap ($30) and easily reversible, if a little crude. You can replace your ECU for $500 to $1000. All prices in USd. You can add a sports exhaust for about $400. You can DIY rebuild the airbox to use cold air and more of it ($15) and install a K&N filter ($35). You can also do the "throttle body transition casting" port and polish - advanced DIY with a Dremel.

FYI - You also need to learn what an upper idler pulley is and replace it ASAP if it has over 50K miles on it no matter what you do.

For the suspension, install a set of Koni shocks. $550 in parts, about $200 in labor if you pay someone to do it. This is probably the one best susp mod for the dollar you can make. You can install lowering springs in softer or harder configurations depending on who's you buy. You can install the (highly recommended) steering rack brace kit. You can update the rear anti-sway bar. Urethane bushings are available for tighter handling.

For the body, there is one aftermarket kit that I know of.

There are lots of sites for chips and other stuff depending on what you want. I would _highly_ recommend doing the suspension first - Koni shocks and springs if you want them - before doing the engine. You'll get more smiles per mile that way. After that, do the MBC or ECU, do the exhaust and the intake mod's. The steering rack brace gets lots of Kudos. Body parts are kuel if you have the money to buy and paint them _properly_.
