9-5 MP3 connector?

Can anyone advise as to the best way to connect an MP3 player to my 02 9-5 Aero audio system? It has the AS3 amp and 6 CD player.

TIA

I would think an RF adapter would provide the cleanest sound and connection.

From my experience, FM transmitters sound like crap, audiophiles be warned. Sure you can get them to sound alright (JUST alright), but even then you never get a clear sound over the entire range. I've always noticed the treble makes a hissing sound when someone sings an "s" sound, quite annoying. What makes it worse is that Saabs have their antennas in the rear, so you get a lot of signal loss. I use a cassette tape adapter in my 9k for my Sirius, Ipod, and in-dash DVD... they all sound perfect. If the cassette is not an option, and I doubt it is on any 9-3/9-5, maybe there is a way to tap into an input (cd changer?). If thats not an option, look around on some sites that review tech products (CNET.com, CircuitCity.com), and chose an FM transmitter that does the best job. The only other option I can think of would be to install a new stereo which probably isn't that cost effective.

If you can settle for mono, you can go in through the phone input.
