Found something I don't understand

Salutations:

Back to more important guff gents.

1993 9000 Aero.

Having reached an age whereby its antenna has started grinding and mostly retracting to 1/3 - I decided to disconnect the motor at full extension as it was allowing water to enter the rear quarter through the antenna.

We already traded many rum gags about our own sometimes embarrassing teen years at the shop today - but feel free to insert yours here. The saab didn't seem to mind the comradely jibes.

Anyway - while I had the interior panel pulled away, I noticed that there was an extra 5 wire 12volt loom plug and what appeared to be a black ethernet cable and male end just under the rear drivers speaker. There also appeared to be a port in the interior felt panel.

Anyone know where the other ends of these items are located?

I am about to attempt to drop in my 1989 Radio and CD set in the front and am wondering if this might represent part of the OEM radio loom. If so, any hope that I might be able to also drop in a spare CD player from a

1994 NG900 using the loom ends and cable I've found?

At some point before we met, someone had dropped a Sony xplod and a now broken Ford type change/cup caddie into the dash and made a bit of a mess of the loom and rack. Still have the oem amp under the passenger seat and hoping to feed it with the signal from the Clarion - which is missing it's chassis and, consequently, it's amp.

I know - but I would like to try to put the old Clarion in if I can as I find the Sony sort of distracting all year round and generally annoying when January comes along and I'm working the radio with mittens on.
