Over the weekend the Boston Globe automotive section had an interview with VP Bob Lutz of GM - who is supposedly "redesigning" GM's lines. (I'd post a link but the Globe charges to view for any article over 2 days old).
Anyway... the upshot of the entire interview was that Lutz thinks each line has to sell something unique. He'w working to establish a niche and a theme for each division. Seemed like good news for Saab as it already holds a niche.
