Woot Woot! Nice car Paul. But I have a coupl'a comments/questions for ya.

1) Why is the steering wheel on the wrong side? That seems awkward.

2) How 'bout that compass in the rear window? Whazzat for? Telling where you been?

3) Who's the hot blond sitting in your wife's car? Isn't she going to be mad when she finds out?

Seriously, nice ride.

Cheers guys! I'm really pleased with it and the smile it's put on my little lady's face is just lovely.

Okay, Fred - the compass. It points north, however, because it is in an optic when applied to the front windscreen, the driver gets to see the back of the compass so a mental translation is required. At the back of the car, the drivers gets to see the front of the compass in the rear view mirror. That's what it's all about :) I like to get lost out in the country and like to know which way the car is pointing ...

Very nice. Probably looks better with the hood down. The joy of classics which stand out from modern cars.

nice pictures. I liked the one where you can see another saab in the rear view mirror. also liked where you can see the reflection of the trees and clouds.

Thanks ... Here, have another picture showing off the deep lustrous shine!

After a few days, it's now covered in dust and pollen. I'm hoping the weather will be good for a full wash and detail tomorrow.

Indeed. I rebuilt the back section of my 82 turbo sedan yesterday after all the rust-treatment was completed around the tailgate. Just need to take off the light clusters again today and seal up the places where it was gooped before I took it all apart to deal with rust.

Seeing a classic car (doesn't matter what make/model really) driving well in amongst the throng of 'throw-away' imports (and respective country's domestic-manufactured car dross) is very refreshing. I wonder how many Chyrsler 300C's will still be on the road in 20, 30 or even 40 years time? The upcoming Boyd Coddington, Chip Foose, etc. prodigy's won't have any cars to work on in years to come as everything will have decayed or broken well beforehand. 8-) That's the theory anyway. lol

Craig.
