Purge Valve Solenoid Connector Bust

Hi all,

99, 9-3 - the dealer tells me that I have a wire broken off the purge valve solenoid connector - hence Check Engine come on.

I'm handy, electronics-wise and I can solder this wire, or change the connector myself? Is this valve in a hard to reach area, engine wise?

Dealer wants 1.5 hours labor to do this (~ $120).

Thanks, Ben

The purge valve should be located at the right strut tower. 2 pin connector, 2 vacuum lines. Leaning on the fender, looking down it should be either between strut tower and engine or strut tower and airbox.
