What is the copyright status of all those pics, public domain?

The Sonett II he has a pic of is actually a Sonett V4, not the Catherina. She can be seen here:

#5; his Sonett II page are both of the Catherina. On the page is no distinction between the two stroke and V4, but that's OK, they are both Sonett IIs.

If they are PD anyone could use them e.g. on

No - have a look and there is a small Saab section, but it covers a lot of car makes, so you'd expect Saab to only have a small section in a big all-encompassing site.

Wow. The guy is criticizing someone posting images of unclear copyright status, on a free site, while he does the same thing with bootleg commercials.

Now I remember why he's in the killfile, and I don't see any reason to change that.

No criticism at all so there can't be any reason to put myself in a kill (anything).

No bootleg videos either, I got them from the creators themselves for free distribution and that's okay, because there is no commercial value to them, and there cannot be.
