Saab 93 TID starting probs

Hi everyone! I have a Saab 93 TID SE (2001 spec),and love the car! This is my first Saab and now i've discovered how good they are won't be my last! My problem is this! When i park my car on any hill with the front bonnet facing up,the car struggles to start? I have to turn it over several times before it starts and when it does quite a bit of smoke comes out the exhaust? When the car is parked facing downhill,it starts first time every time? And could anyone recommend the best and cheapest way to fix my pixels on my sid? Cheers!

That's a fairly common T-D problem caused by air leaks in the fuel lines. You need to replace them.

Yes. When there's a leak, the fuel drains back into the tank, which means when you start the car it isn't getting enough diesel at the injectors to do its thing.

Hmm. Mine isn't perfect either but it isn't so bad as I want to use an eBay repairer just yet.
