[Saab_c9000] changes made in the 1992 to 1993 Saab 9000 model transition

Hi everyone,

I've been starting to understand more about the Saab 9000's in recent times, and apart from knowing that GM re-designed the 9000's in 1992 with a complete new release from 1993, I'm not really up to speed with the changes that were made, and whether or not they were good or bad.

I'm yet to acquire a 9000 (my C900's keep me busy enough trying to source all the parts I need!), but out of the 1985 to 1992 'classic'

9000's, are there are particular models or year makes which are better to look out for?

Thanks for any info you're able to contribute.

Regards,

Craig.

GM had nothing to do with the model-change!

The CS-model har better side-protection as well as better corrosion-protection.

Cheers!

Where did you get this from? GM did nothing with the 9000.

You can find a fair description of 9000 models here:
