In article , Fred.Wills@allspam spouted forth into alt.autos.saab...

If you read them carefully, they aren't genuine sites for illegal papers.

For one, there is no national id card for the UK yet.

I think if anyone tried to actually use their services, they would have to be the kind of person who had to check when told that they wouldn't find gullible in any dictionary.

just for the record. dvla.gov.uk is the UK Vehicle licensing service/company. The real site doesn't offer passports of any kind.

It really is a big joke concern, no one in their right mind would consider taking them seriously with just one look at the quality of the site they "Operate" from.

It is an example of british humour.

Oh I don't know, I might tax my car through them next time round, only £75 for 12 months, it has been a while since I remember it at around that level. :)

Replacement MOT's are a bit overpriced though at 45 quid since a real replacement is only a tenner.

I see the link, but that might be just the name of the firm he paid to register the domains, and they put them through register.com

I missed it too and I livde here (UK). The sites are not funny ... they are real and meant to get someone's money (and who would complain if they lost money to the conmen).

The posting itself is a bit of very dry British humour (... or metal turbo owns the sites ... ooops ... I don't think he does)

it appears "Scania 9-3" likes men, but is afraid to come out of the closet and admit it himself.
