so, scott (dot) tld is some server that auto harvests email addresses? Well cool, personally that sounds like too much work for just harvesting directly from the newsgroups.

Spammers dont work, thats why they spam, its all automated. Program logs in, pulls email address that follows "From:" and adds it to a list. They also pull them from webpages. Anything that follows mailto: gets added automatically unless its coded so that their automation programs cant recognize it.
