Need air dam for 91 Saturn SC

Got a 91 Saturn SC, the air dam is missing and I understand that this is an important part of the engine cooling system. I haven't searched the junk yards yet. If I can't find one, does anyone know where I could buy one? I did a little searching on the internet with no luck.

Thanks, Dennis

You will be amazed once you go searching. You should find an air dam very easily, and once you see how you remove it, you'll wire tire your replacement on (springs rust through). Since they are made of all plastic, there should be a good supply them in the yard.

Call ahead first, most yards have an inventory of what type of cars they have.

Good luck,

Picking this up from you local Saturn dealer's parts department may cost less than the shipping for a used one. You may want to give them a call to see what they run.

Maaaan....

my car was overheating past couple of summers. Had no idea it would be due to a missing air dam...though I kinda suspected it might be it. Anyhow... I kept searching at my local junkyard, until I finally found one a couple of months ago. Cost me about $20 and it came a a whole assembly (air dam and baffle).

Made a huge difference on the engine temperature.

I'll tie wrap it on to make sure it doesn't fall off again.

I've lost too many springs. Which resulted in the air dam being dragged. Good thing I saw it, and wire tied mine.
