64 Daytona Convert F/S

OK, here's the deal. Sal and I will offer the 64 Daytona convert we just bought pretty much as is before prepping for ebay. It's a powershift bucket seat car with PS and power disk brakes and factory AM/FM. It could be a 15K or better car with a bit of work and maybe a grand spent on on front bucket recovering and a fixing a dozen minor issue. It runs and drivers as is, but is not a nice daily driver yet. The front end could use rebuilding, the brakes pull a bit and so on. The good news is the car is pretty much rust free and with the exception of some minor dings is straight. Pot metal is nice, but not perfect, most everything on the car is just driver quality including the paint job. We have too many cars waiting to be prepped to do this car the way it deserves to be fixed. Best offer over 10K before we do much work preppng for ebay.

John, I think that's a great car and I gave your number to fellow Stude collector in Barre, VT . Hopefully he will be giving you a call.

John, Where is car located?

production only about 700. If I wasn't paying for two in college I'd buy it myself. There was an interesting commentary recently in Hemmings about buying certain collector cars now, when the prices are relatively low, putting them away and restoring them later. My prediction is if he doesn't buy it now, he'll be kicking himself later.....
