Finally got me one! Bought a 53 2R-12 Its so Pretty(Kewl). We bought it off George Reitenour, so maybe you know the truck? No overdrive, thats the only bummer, but well taken care of no rust no leaks anywhere.
We made the deal at the Show in Neb but it took this long to get it here. We had to find someone to get it from TN to Ca, not that easy. I looked around here for trustworthy shippers and went with D&G. Nice people but it took a month to get it, yikes.
This is our Annaversary gift(Sams/me too). We had to give up our 46 Chevy truck to buy our home years ago. So this guy came to us at a perfect time.
So I want to buy Sam stuff to go with it, what do you suggest plus I need to know, if ya know what I mean. What years are all the same, what made this year different then the year before or after?
