Speaking of Tango Uniform............

Once while airborne, I reported the broken radar as Tango Uniform to the Crew Commander.

The Major was female and either was having a bad feminist day or was just a bit sensitive to the perceived slight.

(For the uninformed, TU means Tits Up, or dead in the water)

She came back over the intercom and asked me (in a "I'm gonna lower the boom on you" voice) what I meant by Tango Uniform.

Without missing a beat, I replied, "Totally Unusable, Ma'am"

She gave me a hairy eyeball, but that was all.

well they don't have 'em at *my* friendly local Best Buy... I did stop by after work, best deal was a Nikon for about $250; they didn't have anything at all under $150. I left without spending any $$ :)

This is my next camera, we just bought one at work and it's amazing, 10x optical zoom with image stabilization... and it will fit in a shirt pocket. My 6 year old Nikon Coolpix 990 has about run it's course.
