Got a truck... Brand X / '62 Lark For Sale

I've always been wanting a 1964-66 Chevy Fleetside shortbed with big window and came across a 1965 outside of Dallas. At first it was described as a shortbed, and with the options listed had an overdose of Viagra effect on me. It turned out that it's a long bed which I can deal with. The truck is heavily optioned and I have yet to find another one that had all of the options shown/listed... big window, factory A/C, factory tach, saddle tanks (which I have yet to see where the filler spout is). There is some rust in the cab corners but nothing that can't be replaced. Pictures here:

COMING UP FOR SALE: There will be a 1962 Lark convertible up for sale shortly. Needs an engine and transmission. Body is good, needs one corner where the finders bolt up replaced (have a corner cut out from a donor car to patch in). One fender is repaired

and the other one will be before I put it up for sale... so it'll have all metal nice fenders. I have a NOS front panel, headlight rims, hood, trunk lid, and rear panel that will go with the car. Dash guages are cleaned up and look like new (perfect bezels). Let me know if you're interested, I haven't figured out what I need to get out of it and need to get some current pictures.

Is that anyway for a chapter officer to talk? Blasphemy! Try using a stick to stir... Your hands are all oogey! Jeff

I've always like the looks of them and a friend of mine back in ND has two of them that he's inherited over the years. He just turned 300,000 miles on the '66 LWB last summer... I think he has driven it everyday since the mid-80's.

I'm excited about this one... because I look at parts catalogs and compare the prices to Studebaker parts I'm used to buying. I feel almost guilty at how cheap some of these parts are.

I love those trucks - built a '64 some years back.

Is that a factory tach? I had one, but pulled it out of an old five-ton (they were stock in those). Very rare option on a 1/2 or 3/4 ton.

Yeah it's a factory tach... I'm finding that the factory A/C may be even more rare. This truck has everything on it that I want except being a shortbed... then I found this article:

IF the Champ had been based on a two door rather than four door sedan...
