Should be easy - not a much sought-after car.

I wish it was easy--just have not been able to find one yet---

So if anyone out there has one PLEASE let me know--reason for getting one is my Dad had one when I was very young (he was a stude guy) buy sold it back in the early 50s. Now I am retired and would like to restore one. Thanks again, John

PS ---I just joined the Studebaker Driver Club--maybe that will help.

I hope you can find one. Already restored is usually cheaper then doing it yourself. But which one did you dad have? There is quite a difference in looks between the 34 and the 35.

He had a 35, but I thought maybe that trying to find a 34 or 35 would increase my chances of finding one--since the 34/35 are similiar in looks.

Yes, the big change occurred in '34.

There is here in Tucson a 35 Commander needing everything but it is a four door with side mounts. I used to have it but someone wanted it so bad but has never done anything with the car. If you want some more information let me know but again it needs everything. Amazingly the windshield is not broken but the top on the body is gone.

I had a 35 commander and it is still in town but it is a four door with sidemounts. It needs everything but it would be cheap to buy. The problem is always the transport cost and cost of restoring and changing it to a coupe body. Good luck on your search.

Thanks for the info to all. Can anyone tell me the interchangability for:

35 four door rear fenders or 2 door and coupe--are they the same

I assume the whole front end is the same between a coupe, four door and 2 door.

Are the doors to a coupe specific the coupe only? Are the 34 and 35 Coupe doors the same?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks again, John
