Martinsburg Zone Meet

We just arrived back in Pittsburgh after a great weekend at the Martinsburg Atlantic Zone Meet. It was well organized, well attended, featured some great Studebakers and great Studebaker drivers. Many thanks to all of the folks who contributed the hard work to make it happen!

My family had a great time also. There were alot of nice cars and trucks there. My only regret is that I didn't attend the banquet or the drive through Antietem on Sunday. I'll set more time aside for next years event!

Thanks Randy. The food was actually good at the banquet- the caterer was very efficient. Sunday morning was cool(er) and very clear. The Antietam Battlefield was spectacular. Paul Johnson

In addition to Dusty, Bob Johnstone, AKA Silver Stude, current Potomac Chapter President, deserves possibly a hard luck award. He and Gail Phillipi fried their brains on Friday and Saturday taking pix of the registered cars only to have...(maybe I'd better let him tell that). Also, Ruth Carr, Darrell's (the musician) wife set up and ran the Hospitality Room. And of course, Pat and Larry Merhaut and Marty Long set up the whole thing- many, many hours of hard work. I also meant to mention that Frank Drumheller, Greater Virginia Chapter and our Atlantic Zone Coordinator, offered IMHO the finest invocation that I ever heard at the banquet. Paul Johnson
