Couple weeks ago I came home to find a pamphlet on the front door from a candidate for county commision. PERSONALLY delivered with a little sidenote saying how much he liked my car...the Hawk was parked in the front yard. This weekend we saw the same candidate going door to door in a rural area...well...most of the county IS a rural area... Today on my way home there he was with his wife on the side of the highway with his pick up truck waving at everyone who went by. There was a giant sign in the back of the truck saying "Thank you". He had won the race. One more reason I made the right decison to leave the county I was in. Now I think that in a year I will sell the shop and the NEW house and get a bigger piece of property that will accomodate a house, shop and boneyard...in the "county". That is, if I don't get even more disgusted with the state and do what Jeffy and Calvin have done... One more note, the guy was an incumbent who consitently votes against developers and for environmental issues. The rest of the commision has a hard time with him sometimes, but he gets MY vote.
