Trip To Wisconsin

Thanks! I am hoping to have some fun with it for as long as I have it I already ordered carpets for it and am looking for some of the other itmes it is going to need to make it a truly nice car.

My buddy Jay lives in Wiscnosin Rapids so it was awful good to be so close for a visit. I had planned to be up to the Point by 11 AM, Jay's place by 12:30, on the road home by 2 PM and home by 10.... I made the first two but, of course, started BS'ing with Jay and family and it was well after 5:30 before I lert the Rapids.... It was time well spent but made for a VERY long day.

Is there any other way? Except of course when the wife unit is along on the trip. Stop, pee, stop, eat, stop at yard sale, stop at mall, stop at antique shop, stop, stop, stop, stop. It's a wonder that a man ever gets anywhere when his wife is along.

Lee, You passed within 25 miles of me...............again. I haven't seen Jay in a couple years. Is he getting anywhere with his projects?

Your Deby and my Debbie are different there, Jerry... Mine has traveled with me enough to know that I just don't make those stops!!!

Hey Claude,

I know.... ONE of these days I'll have to take an extra day and visit with you and Tim along the way. With all the stuff I had listed on e-Bay the last couple weeks, I had to be home first thing Sunday for some pick-ups...

Jay seems to be doing well and has only gotten more projects to work on! LOL.... The Studebakers are waiting patiently for him to get a couple others done (brand X stuff) and to get the shop cleaned out. He is still as excited as a school kid about fixing the Hawk up though and is still hunting and gathering parts for the project.

The first thing my brother in law said was that it needed flames! Of course, he said that about the cop car, pace car, R2 wagon, Debbie's wagon, the Rune and my old plow truck!

Mary just falls asleep as soon as we are out of town.My car broke down once

15 miles from home and I had to give her directions to get to me.In 20 years I dont think she had ever passed through there with her eyes open.

Bob40...yup, apparently I am that boring.

That is funny only because I married the same type of gal... Debbie either is reading or sleeping. When in a big city, she covers her face with a magazine so she does not have to see what I am about to run over
