1993 Subaru Legacy Radio Removal Help Needed

Can someone tell me how to remove the radio from a 1993 Subaru Legacy?

Does one have to remove the floor shifter console to get to the radio?

Are there any clips that one needs to be careful of when removing as to not break them?

Can I remove the radio with standard tools or do I need special tools to get at the screws and bolts?

I recently replaced the radio in my 2000 Legacy. The procedure might be the same. I had to start by popping out the trip around the gear shifter. Then I worked my way towards the dashboard, prying and unscrewing. Pry gently, and you'll be fine. No special tools needed.

The hard part is reaching in deep. I lost two screws deep in the dash. I'll never get the back, but I'll be OK without them.
