On two occasions, after parking and before turning off the engine, the fuel gage slowly dropped to Empty. I tried turning off and restarting the engine, but it remained on empty. The following day, it was working again.
Any ideas? Thanks Pete

Common for the wiper on the float arm to lose good contact. Easy to fix and FREE! Remove the access hatch for the fuel pump then remove the pump and the sending unit. You will see where the 2 pieces rub together to make the gauge change as the fuel level changes. Clean this area and make sure the spring is long enough to provide adequate pressure..if not then stretch it slightly. TG
Thank you for the fix!
Pete
