Are Subaru USA a bunch of incompetents?

Two Subaru Service Bulletins address the issue of clogging oil line mesh filters in turbo cars.

Bulletins are dated 2007 and 2008.

Each bulletin includes a picture of the screen and bolt where it resides. A warning to note the direction of screen placement is included.

Unfortunately picture in the first bulletin seems to show the filter direction opposite to direction shown on picture in the second bulletin.

What gives?

All Turbo Equipped Vehicles SUBJECT: Turbocharger Oil Supply Mesh Screen NUMBER: 02-103-07 DATE: 10/19/07

Banjo bolt and Mesh Screen (note direction of screen)

? Make sure the mesh screen is installed in the proper direction; i ncorrect installation will cut off oil supply to the turbo.
