I like the sedan. Anybody know why the flap in front of the rear wheels seems to have a gap in the middle of it?

I hope not. It's bread and butter for the Subaru. They are probably sell more Legacies than Imprezas and Fartsters combined and over half of the Legacies they sell are wagons.

Pity, I was hoping for a spec B wagon someday.

I didn't spot anything definitively stating that in the article. Did i miss it? Can you cut/paste quote it here?
thanx

I see they've just tweaked the front-end and done nothing about the back end of it. Front-end looks a bit haughty now though. Interesting that they didn't adopt the Alfa Romeo kidney grills that are now on the Tribecas and Imprezas, which are now supposed to be the new corporate identity; I wonder if the corporate identity is already passe?

Funny, I can not spot it either now, besides the non reliable readers comments, look for "The non-Outback Legacy Wagon is history in the U.S.; All Legacy Wagons are now high-riding Outbacks."
Never the less, I miss "6-speed M/T 2.5GT Spec B wagon.
The new Impreza is supposed to be a hatchback, and there will likely ba a wagon also. The Impreza is to be built on a Legacy platform. No need to pity, they are not idiots at Subaru. Likely you'll find something very similar to the B spec Legacy wagon in the upcoming Impreza line. It may be even more affordable than existing options. I hope, cause I want one too.

So now Subaru copied the Volvo s series for the sedan- They look the same!!!! They gave outback bigger foglights but still lacks the identity it had before. Another model year I wont be buying a subie!!!

Gosh, thanks. It looks even worse than the STI! (-:

Looks much better than present of the future STI to me. But it will be a heavier pig than IX with more electronics in the drivetrain both of these are big turnoffs for me. Thinking over various schemas of sneaking evo IX past the wife. Suggestions?
Start out wanting something even more expensive and be negotiated down?
Do some trade where she gets something too? (I got my latest electric guitar when my wife got her video iPod.)
Funny, we're in the reverse situation with my STi: my wife encouraged me to get something so nice given that I work and commute plenty and, though I love it, and think it a great deal, I'm not so sure I wouldn't have preferred to pay the mortgage off all the sooner instead.
Use it as the surprise means to whisk her off for a romantic getaway?
Good luck. (-:
