I thinking of replacing 99 Altima with either an '05 OBW or Legacy wagon. We currently have a an '03 Legacy special edition and are pleased with it.
What are the principal differences between the OBW and the Legacy? The dealer sales rep tells me that these are two different vehicles, built to entirely different specs and quality. I don't believe this to be true, but there is not much point arguing with him.
It appears that both have the same engine / transmission /differential package. Most of the chassis and body panels appear to be identical. The plastic trim, wheels and ground clearance may differ somewhat, but this is probably not significant to the function.
