It turns over, but won't start. I had the same problem a few months ago, replaced the fuel filter and it started OK. And now it back. When it does start, it runs very poorly, not sure if it misses but dies in idle, especially in Drive more than in Park. It runs better when it warms up. But even then, acceleration is nil. Which is a different issue.

It seems like a fuel system problem. Dirty injectors or throttle body? What in the FI system could I easily check? Run some FI cleaner in the gas tank? Could a plugged cat cause starting problems? The muffler is falling off and needs replacement.

It will get a new engine soon, new cat, lots of FI parts, etc, but for now I just want to get it out of the driveway where it stalled.

This car spent 2 years in the Carrebean where gas is of a different quality, it got significantly lower MPG there. Back to the states, the MPG went up. But I think their leaded gas damaged someting.
