Leaking coolant on a Legacy

I own a 1995 Subaru Legacy 2.2 L. It has started leaking coolant every now and then on the garage floor and I'm not sure why. I haven't seen any coolant in the oil and haven't readily found any leaks in hoses or the radiator. What could this be from?

Hi,

Several things to look at: water pump seal starting to leak, weeping head gaskets, loose hose clamp. Sometimes these things are aggravated by cold as parts cool and contract. For example, my Subie leaks (onto the floor) from the head gaskets most of the winter, but doesn't lose a drop during the summer. My Camry spits out coolant from somewhere in the vicinity of the intake manifold onto the ground if it sits for a few days, but again, doesn't lose a drop if it's driven daily.

Good luck finding the problem!

Thank you very much. That helps tremendously. I live in Kansas and it's been extremely cold here for several weeks. I'll watch it and see what happens.
