Have you thought of trying one of the japanese used car-reseller / exporters as they are experienced in these kind of matters and the whole deal would most likely quicker and a great deal cheaper than exporting from europe.I work for a well known forwarder and we avoid these jobs as far as possible and leave it to the specialists due to the potential pitfalls! one other thing based on our shippers experiences take a wad of money with you when you go to pick up the car in China to cover " expedited processing" or be prepared to wait a while for your car as officials check the documentation for irregularities, mice and weasels Derek
