removing the center rear headrest, wgn?

trying to remove the rear center headrest in an 07' Imp wagon. I took the side ones off because they limited rear view, and though it is smaller, it still distracts when looking in the rear mirror, along with the loom for the center belt.

The passenger seat headrest made it hard to see out to the right. I moved the seat/back to where it lined up with the door post, but taking it off, took some getting used to, with all the light and visability. I have differet seats I want to install, tha have smaller head rests, that should be better.

The sear belt anchored to the rt rear hatch pillar is a distraction when looking out the back. Maybe I'll get used to it, but my eyes get drawn to it, with the belts being black, and the trim light, and slows down backing manuvers when in traffic.

If its like mine, the release is on the top of the seat. You will have to snake your fingers between the seat and the bottom of the headrest and pinch the release. I don't recall which side its on.

??

You should have bought the Forester. It's the SUV version of the Impreza.

I tried to get in between to find it. Maybe my fingers are too fat. Didn't think so.))

Look behind the seat.

One more point. If it weren't for Carl's response, I would have no idea what your rambling, moronic post was actually asking. You never really posted a question, only a bunch of crap nobody really cares about. I forgot: "))"

you would know moronic rambling. Forget your meds today, or hitting the booze? Behind The seat, eh?? That's brillant... ahhh.. any more details, or do I Fish??

You're the type who would ask a million questions, like Why do you want to take the headrests off, they are there to protect passengers, and then feeling sorry for your lack of being able to Think, I'd Explain, and the thead would go on forever, till I realized your brain was addled.

Actually, I'd probably check the manual.

got the center head rest off, but wasn't easy. Little by little I'm making the car comfortable and easy to drive and see out of. Still not happy with the ride or surging. Will probably have to stay off of small rough streets, where I have to drive slow. Well, the car was bought for long trips, but if it drove and rode well in the city It should be great on the road, but maybe not as good handling. Now a days I'm looking like Gabby Hayes with my white beard, and feel like I'm driving a buckboard.)) A friend with a Charger SRT-8 has as many complaints.((
