I have a 00 Villager that has a CEL - code P0500 Vehicle Speed Sensor malfunction. The van runs well but has an issue with loss of power every once in a while between 30 and 40mph. I suspect that this issue is related. The OD light flashes on warm starts as well. To date, I have replaced the VSS, the cruise control computer (behind the console), and the transmission computer. We've also checked and rechecked the VSS wiring. I have ordered an output speed sensor from the dealer and it will be replaced tomorrow. I'm at a loss for what else to try. The van has been dependable and we have taken it on several trips of 400 miles or more. The inspection sticker is now expired and we can't get it re-inspected until this is resolved. Any ideas what else to try? Selling it is not an option right now. Andy
