91 Camry intermittant belt motor

My 91 Camry has a shoulder belt that is separate from the waist belt. The shoulder belt extends from a track above the door which guides it from near the windshield for entering and leaving to a point above doe door post to hold in the driver's upper body.

Problem is that it has become intermittant and sometimes refuses to go forward and sometimes refuses to go back to the restraining position. What a nuisance! I'm waiting for it to fail completely before I tackle it but hoping that there is a relay that is sticking that can be replaced. The owner's manual doesn't show one nor doew my Haynes manual. Does anyone know if it does have one and where it is located?

Check the wiring near the door hinge that flexes when the door opens and closes.

What is your reasoning there. The shoulder belt motor and track are on the body frame not in the door. I wouldn't expect any belt electronics to be on wires from the body to the door?
